2013癸巳蛇年挥春暨书法观摩会 The 2013 Chinese New Year Huichun

The second Chinese Calligraphy Display and Huichun organised by the Cairnhill Chinese Calligraphy Special Interest Group (C3SIG) was held on 27 Jan 2013 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Cairnhill Community Club's lecture room. Huichun is a Chinese customs to write auspicious messages on red paper to usher in the Chinese New Year and hopefully to evict bad spirits from the home premises.

More than 60 lovers of Chinese calligraphy attended the events and about 200 calligraphic auspicious messages written on red paper were given away.

由经禧书法小组主办的第二次书法观摩会与挥春活动于2013年1月27日下午假经禧民众俱乐部讲堂成功举行。挥春是一项华人的风俗习惯，在红纸上书写吉祥的话来迎接新的一年，并希望驱走邪恶的精神。

超过60位书法爱好者出席了这次的观摩会与挥春活动。大约200挥春作品免费分送给出席的书法爱好者。

这次的挥春活动，资深书法家薛振传与苏德茂两位先生抽空出席，令挥春活动生色不少。
